Course Description:

The 2-Hour Infection Control Online Course reviews the most current CDC and Dental Board guidelines for preventing disease transmission in the dental environment. This course is required for all dental license renewals in California and provides an essential update for practicing professionals. Students will review proper sterilization and disinfection techniques, infection prevention protocols, and exposure management and record-keeping requirements. The course is 100% online and self-paced, with reading materials and a final multiple-choice exam. Participants must achieve a minimum score of 75% to pass. The course fee is $25.00.
